Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID, the document(s) to be notarized, and any additional forms required for the process. Ensure all parties involved are present if witnessing is required. Do not sign documents in advance – signatures must be witnessed by the notary.
Single document: $24.95. For multiple documents: first document $19.95, documents 2-5 are $14.95 each, and 6th document onwards is $9.95 each. Mobile notary services may have additional fees. Contact us for a detailed quote.
Notarization serves as a formal verification that a signature on a document is authentic, made voluntarily, and properly witnessed. It provides assurance to third parties—such as courts, government agencies, banks, or institutions—that the document has been signed in the presence of a professional who has verified the signer’s identity and witnessed the signature.
A Notary Public cannot provide legal advice in their capacity as a notary. The functions of a Notary Public are strictly limited to witnessing signatures, administering oaths or affirmations, and certifying documents. Legal advice should only be given by a licensed professional retained specifically for that purpose.
Yes, we can notarize signatures on documents intended for use outside of Ontario or even outside of Canada. However, it is the client’s responsibility to confirm whether the receiving organization or authority in another province or country will accept a document notarized by an Ontario Notary Public.
Yes, we can notarize documents in any language. The Notary Public does not need to understand the contents of the document. Their role is to verify your identity and witness your signature. If your signature is not accompanied by your printed name in English, you will be asked to print it beside your signature to complete the notarization properly.
